CT Technologist (Outpatient): Compensation: $50
$60/hour Location: Westchester County, NY Schedule: Full-time and Per Diem positions available Advance your career as a CT Technologist (Outpatient) in Westchester County, NY, with our client. In this role, you will perform routine and specialized CT procedures, prepare patients for exams, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnostic results. You will also maintain equipment, complete quality assurance checks, and follow safety and regulatory standards in a supportive outpatient environment. Responsibilities
Patient Preparation: Prepare and position patients for CT exams while following clinical protocols and safety standards. Imaging Accuracy: Perform and review high-quality scans to ensure diagnostic accuracy. Clinical & Emergency Support: Assist physicians during procedures and provide on-call or holiday coverage as needed. Equipment Oversight: Conduct quality assurance checks, calibrations, and promptly report technical issues. Documentation & Standards: Maintain accurate patient records and deliver compassionate care in line with hospital and radiology standards. Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based radiologic technology program required. Experience: Previous experience in CT imaging, with knowledge of radiation physics, protection, and safety practices. Licensure: Current New York State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required. Certification: ARRT (R) and/or CT, or NMTCB (CNMT) required, with advanced CT within one year; BLS certification also required. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with NY State and ACR quality assurance standards, compliance protocols, and DOH IV certification (preferred or to be completed within 6 months). Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
