Overview
X-Ray Technologist (Outpatient): Compensation: $40-$50/hour Location: Westchester County, NY Schedule: Full-time and Per-Diem shifts available Join our client as an X-Ray Technologist (Outpatient) in Westchester County, NY, where you will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-focused setting. In this role, you will prepare and position patients, perform imaging procedures, and support radiologists with accurate results while maintaining safety protocols and equipment standards across all age groups. Responsibilities
Patient Preparation: Prepare and position patients for exams while ensuring comfort and adherence to imaging protocols. Imaging Accuracy: Produce and review high-quality diagnostic radiographs for accuracy and completeness. Equipment Oversight: Operate and maintain radiology equipment, perform quality checks, and report malfunctions promptly. Clinical Collaboration: Assist physicians during procedures and communicate effectively with radiologists and providers. Administrative & Training Support: Complete EMR/PACS documentation, manage prior films, and participate in staff meetings, in-services, and student instruction. Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based radiologic technology program required. Licensure: Current New York State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required. Certification: ARRT (R) certification required. Technical Skills: Skilled in operating radiographic equipment, performing quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with ACR, NY State, and continuing education requirements for radiologic technologists. Skills & Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and ability to provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations. Application Notice
