This role is for an Electronic System Servicer (alternate work week 6:00am - 6:00pm) and is intended for onsite work at the East Hartford location. What You Will Do

Reads and interprets board layouts, schematics and BOMs Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronics to diagnose causes of malfunctions and repair Adjusts, modifies and repairs electronic systems, working from sketches, layouts, and diagrams Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance Maintains electric and electronic test equipment Checks functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions Disassembles manual equipment and replaces it with new or repaired parts Uses hand tools, power tools, and simple machine tools to repair manufacturing equipment Performs Preventative Maintenance on manufacturing equipment Performs General Maintenance duties as needed Performs system calibrations and recordings Qualifications You Must Have

HS Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in a related field Broad knowledge of electronics and electrical theory, including AC, DC, solid state theory, polyphase power, and a thorough understanding of computer operations and codes, mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics, and their interdependence in control systems Ability to use math through trigonometry, work from complex schematics and technical material, and operate a variety of test equipment Qualifications We Prefer

Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or completed 4-year Apprenticeship 4+ years’ experience in Aerospace/Manufacturing 3+ years electronics/electrical trades experience, working on and servicing CNC machines Licensed electrician E1/E2 Qualifications We Value
