Robotic Weld Operator I Full-time | Permanent | Day Shift Hourly $22 - $25 *We are not currently working with third party agencies on this role. About this Opportunity: This position sets up, troubleshoots, and runs the most complicated Weld Robot work. This position is the lowest level within the Weld Robot Operator series. You will work with the Inspectors to guarantee parts produced are to the highest quality and/or work with the Weld Lead and the Programmers to either improve, or troubleshoot the parts being welded. Responsibilities
Assure the Weld Robot is consistently producing quality parts in the most efficient time. Train with Weld Robot Operator 2 or Programmer to advance skill set. Perform set-ups and ensure parts are conforming. Help to keep the Weld Robot Department and machinery clean and orderly. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Must have good print reading skills. Be able to use calipers and tape measure. Understand what the Weld Robot is doing when operating as well as know how the Robot can run at its most efficient level. Have good understanding of basic mathematics. Requires the ability to read, write and understand written documents. Requirements

Most assigned tasks for this position may involve “Heavy Work”, as defined below. The hiring authority may review the applicant’s physical ability based on the specific tasks to be assigned. Heavy Work:
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Certificate and Licenses
Must be able to pass the Vander-Bend Manufacturing Forklift training and receive Certification.
