UTILITY WORKER – BUILDING MAINTENANCE (B) DEPARTMENT:
FACILITIES LOCATION : Dorchester, MA RATES OF PAY:
$34.47 CURRENTLY POSTED HOURS:
7:00AM– 3:30PM SCHEDULE:
M-F UNION REPRESENTED POSITION The title Facilities Cleaner principle duties are cleaning and other general service work in and around office and service buildings and their associated areas. Under general supervision, performs work of a general service nature in and around office and service buildings and their associated areas. Must be available for Emergency Response to support Gas and Electric Operations outside of posted hours as needed. Minimum Qualifications
Ability to perform moderately physical work indoors and outdoors in all seasons and at times for extended periods. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Three years of facility maintenance experience required. Must have a license to operate motor vehicles. Must have mechanical aptitude, be alert and careful. Must be personable and cooperative in order to have good working relationships with people. Able to use housekeeping equipment such as automated sweepers and scrubbers. Inventory control skills needed to maintain cleaning products stock levels. Competencies
