Overview
Clinical Care Technician, Surgical Unit-II at RWJ New Brunswick (Part-Time, Day shift).
Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care including taking vital signs, EKGs, performing phlebotomy, and bedside care (bathing, mouth care, skin care).
Provide patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of patients in assigned service.
Contribute to effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions.
Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding patient care status.
Participate in collaboration of the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
Qualifications
Required:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Required:
Basic Life Support (CPR) through American Heart Association.
Preferred:
Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program.
Preferred:
Certified nursing assistant.
Scheduling
Day Shift, 16 hours per week (2 shifts per week), 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, includes every other weekend and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $20.11 - $28.67 per hour
