Overview
Summary: Performs a variety of clerical and technical duties under general supervision, reporting to a Laboratory Supervisor. Responsibilities include the receipt, accessioning, centrifugation, and decanting of patient specimens, as well as communicating with clinicians at the Front Window and over the phone. Assist with labeling, preservation and fixation of specimens. Work closely with technologists to ensure specimens are processed timely and accurately. Monitor reagent and supply inventory. Organize patient specimen and assay worksheets/printouts for testing and technologist review. Use LIMS to upload documents and input critical data. Education

Good interpersonal and communication skills so as to be able to interact effectively with individuals in the lab and the hospital. Ability to multitask and work accurately under the stress of time constraints and heavy workload demands. Demonstrates excellent dependability, reliability, accuracy, prioritization ability, problem solving skills, customer service and teamwork. Physical Requirements
