Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Job with ECU Health in NC
ECU Health Physicians and East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their established primary care practice. The successful candidate will provide care at the Monk Geriatric Center. Applicants should have at least two years of experience as a provider. Applicants with geriatric experience are preferred. The Geriatrics Division is housed within the Department of Family Medicine, which is one of 11 clinical departments at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine. The mission of the Geriatrics Division is to care for our older population and prepare all levels of learners for the challenges of caring for older patients. Opportunity Highlights Include: Employment by ECU Health Physicians Growing 9-hospital physician-led healthcare system Excellent provider longevity and mentorship Established department that includes 30 Physicians and 11 Advanced Practice Providers Clinical responsibilities will include outpatient primary and urgent care to the geriatric patient population Opportunity to round at Skilled Nursing and Intermediate Care Facility Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm schedule System-wide integrated EHR – EPIC Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association Excellent compensation and benefit plan to include annual administrative stipend, relocation assistance, vacation, sick, holidays, malpractice (with tail), 401k matching/457b, medical, dental vision, and life insurance Opportunities exist for student loan repayment from the North Carolina Medical Society and The North Carolina Office of Rural Health ECU Health is a mission-driven, 1,708-bed academic health care system serving more than 1.4 million people in 29 eastern North Carolina counties.
