We are Bell Textron, shaping the future of aviation through specialized engineering. This position is onsite in Fort Worth and focuses on avionics & electrical systems for aircraft.
What You’ll Be Doing As a Electronics Engineer
Assist with the development, design, testing and certification documentation for new or modified printed circuit board modules for aircraft
Apply electrical engineering theory and the operation of electronic test equipment to test and troubleshoot avionics / electrical modules or systems
Model and simulate electronic circuits using SPICE software
Design printed circuit board layouts using Altium design software
Modify and maintain programmable logic designs in FPGAs and CPLDs
Prepare engineering certification reports to document system designs that meet the requirements of certification authorities
Prepare functional test documents to verify proper operation of electronic assemblies
Qualifications Skills You Bring To This Role
Proficient in analog and digital circuit design
Software programming experience with C
Knowledge of control systems and embedded processor design is desirable
Design experience with FPGAs and Verilog or VHDL
Familiarity with aerospace standards (DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461) or similar industry standards
What You Need to Be Successful
At least 2 years of experience in Electronics Engineering or related field
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering is preferred)
Advanced degrees or related degrees with relevant experience will be considered
