We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.

This position is onsite in Fort Worth.

Avionics & Electrical Develop Electronic Modules utilized in the control and monitoring of various systems on-board the aircraft. Tasks include circuit design, PC board layout, software design, verification and integration on Bell Helicopter products.

What you’ll be doing as a Electronics Engineer

Assist with the development, design, testing and certification documentation for new or modified printed circuit board modules for aircraft

Apply electrical engineering theory and the operation of electronic test equipment to test and troubleshoot avionics / electrical modules or systems

Model and simulate electronic circuits using SPICE software

Design printed circuit board layouts using Altium design software

Modify and maintain programmable logic designs in FPGAs and CPLDs

Prepare engineering certification reports to document system designs that meet the requirements of certification authorities

Prepare functional test documents to verify proper operation of electronic assemblies

Skills You Bring To this Role

Proficient in analog and digital circuit design

Software programing experience with C program language

Desired knowledge of control systems and embedded processor design

Design Experience with Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and Verilog or VHDL

Familiarity with the application of aerospace standards (DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461) or similar industry standards.

What you need to be successful

At least 2 years of experience in Electronics Engineering or related field

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering is preferred)

Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.

Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
