As a Plastic Extrusion Manufacturing Engineer II, you\'ll contribute to meaningful projects that shape the future of aerospace. This position contributes to our vision by: Drive an overall improvement of our extrusion processes: increased safety, increased quality, reduced scrap. Conceive and develop new cost-effective manufacturing concepts using lean methodologies. Engage maintenance personnel in resolving process and equipment problems using systematic methods of troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and irreversible corrective action implementation. Participate and provide technical expertise on our manufacturing floor including Extrusion, Secondary ops, and assembly. Drive our processes to meet customer cost and quality requirements. Lead flawless launches of new product activities through active participation in FMEA, PFD, part and tool design reviews, Kaizen and other cross-functional team events. Mentor extrusion technicians and engage maintenance personnel in resolving tooling and equipment problems using systematic methods of troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and irreversible corrective action implantation. Responsible for setting up and generating programs for new products. Interfaces with product engineering, manufacturing leadership, and support teams to meet business unit goals. Supports standardization initiatives across business units. Coordinates with engineering team to implement company engineering strategies. Other duties may be assigned. What we offer

Requires Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering Requires 3-5 years experience in manufacturing and/or quality processes with focus in plastic extrusion Blueprint and schematics reading - Advanced Problem Solving, root cause analysis and corrective action - Advanced Capable of managing large amounts of data and tasks – Basic Ability to build strategic working relationships at all levels of the organization – Basic Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodologies and tools - Advanced Ability to understand flow diagrams, PFMEA, and control plans – Advanced Across all team members, we are looking for the following attributes: Innovative & Curious; Collaborative & Inclusive; Committed to Safety; Trustworthy; Results Focused; Driven to Excellence; Powered by Teamwork Company Information
