Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible in your community and around the world. In the role of Geotechnical Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

Scope, plan, and execute site characterization studies and investigations Coordinate and manage work by geotechnical subconsultants including drilling firms and testing laboratories Prepare geologic and geotechnical designs, sketches, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects Support geotechnical analysis and design of foundations, retaining walls, site grading, ground improvement, and stability assessments Manage aspects of small-scale projects or specific parts of larger projects Review geotechnical deliverables for quality assurance Coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout project lifecycle under supervision Provide construction phase support, including review of quality control and assurance reports Ensure workload is completed on budget and schedule Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering Five+ years experience in geotechnical or geological engineering, including subsurface investigations, foundation design, soil mechanics, slope stability, earthwork, and ground improvement Active participation in professional societies (e.g., ASCE, AEG, DFI, Geo Institute) Proficiency with engineering software such as SHAFT, LPILE, SLOPE/W, Civil 3D, GIS, etc. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams Experience with foundation and slope stability analysis and design Required Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license Experience with Microsoft Office, MicroStation, GeoStudio/Ensoft, Bentley geotechnical software Commitment to our employee-owned culture Our Values and Culture
