In the role of Geotechnical Engineer, you'll be responsible for: Scoping, planning, and executing site characterization studies and investigations. Coordinating and managing work by geotechnical subconsultants. Preparing geologic and geotechnical designs, sketches, plans, and specifications for transportation projects. Supporting geotechnical analysis and design of foundations, retaining walls, and ground improvement techniques. Managing aspects of small-scale projects or components of larger projects. Reviewing geotechnical deliverables for quality assurance. Coordinating multidisciplinary teams throughout project life cycles. Providing construction phase support, including review of quality control reports. Managing workload to complete tasks on time and budget. Performing additional duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering. Five or more years of relevant experience, including subsurface investigations, foundation design, soil mechanics, slope stability, and ground improvement. Active participation in professional societies (e.g., ASCE, AEG, DFI). Proficiency with engineering software such as SHAFT, LPILE, SLOPE/W, Civil 3D, etc. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Required Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license. Experience with Microsoft Office and geotechnical software like GeoStudio and Bentley suite. Commitment to our inclusive, employee-owned culture. Our Values and Culture
