Concrete/Structural Superintendent
We are seeking a Concrete/Structural Superintendent to oversee and lead the structural production phase of our multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use projects. This individual will focus on concrete and structural systems—CIP concrete, precast, and structural steel—guiding projects through their most critical early stages.
Duties & Responsibilities Field Leadership & Execution
Direct daily field operations during structural phases, including concrete placement, formwork, rebar, precast installation, and steel erection.
Manage and coordinate subcontractor crews to ensure production goals are achieved safely and efficiently.
Monitor and enforce compliance with construction documents, specifications, and tolerances.
Schedule & Production Management
Develop and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules to drive the structural production sequence.
Coordinate structural activities with MEP rough-ins, layout, and other early-stage scopes.
Track progress against milestones and proactively address schedule challenges.
Quality & Safety
Enforce project-specific and company-wide safety protocols; lead by example in maintaining a safe jobsite.
Partner with QC teams to verify proper installation of concrete and structural elements.
Conduct pre-pour and pre-installation meetings to align subcontractors on quality expectations.
Communication & Coordination
Serve as the primary field point of contact during structural phases, working closely with senior leadership and project management.
Provide daily reporting on manpower, production, and issues impacting schedule or quality.
Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and inspectors to resolve field challenges.
Qualifications Experience & Knowledge
5+ years of superintendent or foreman experience in concrete or structural construction.
Proven background managing CIP concrete, precast, and/or structural steel installations.
Strong understanding of sequencing and production planning for large-scale structures.
Familiarity with commercial and multifamily project delivery.
Skills
Strong leadership and crew management abilities.
Skilled in reading structural drawings, shop drawings, and field layout documents.
Proficient with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and scheduling tools.
Effective communicator with field crews, subcontractors, and project leadership.
