Summary of Role:

Senior Engineer Manufacturing Equipment / Lithography This equipment engineering position is for a Senior Engineer who will support Lithography semiconductor production tools. The primary responsibilities of this position are to sustain the manufacturing production line, participate in troubleshooting of equipment issues, and work with equipment and process teams on tool improvements. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and exhibit a high level of interest in understanding and solving complex technical problems. Essential Responsibilities: Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing priorities. Strong project leadership, organization, and excellent communication skills. Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements and programs. Strong electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience in leading teams with an emphasis on project leadership fundamentals, effective communication, and spending justification. Equipment engineering skills with solid experiences in resolving tool-related challenges. In-depth knowledge of Predictive and Preventive Maintenance techniques. Prioritize and run daily operation and maintenance teams' daily resources on shift to ensure efficient floor operations, including internal and vendor resources. Be a technical resource to support 24x7 operations within the Lithography area. Structured problem-solving/troubleshooting tool issues and supporting resolution. Ensure the maintenance system is updated and kept current with team activities. Reduce unplanned downtime and improve planned downtime predictability. Work with management and operations to drive continuous improvement, standardization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency within operation and maintenance. Setup and maintain FDC, PM specifications, and other quality systems for the assigned tools. Support yield and Continuous Improvement activities related to ASML Lithography and Yield Star Equipment. Use lean manufacturing and six sigma processes. Support installation of new equipment as well as sustaining existing tools. Develop and train the equipment technicians. Create materials and perform training of technicians working on tools in the area. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering. Experience: 5+ years of semiconductor equipment experience. Must have Lithography Scanner Equipment Experience. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, and internal and external partners. Demonstrated outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization and experience in working with external constituencies. Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments. Familiarity with 5S, 8D, 6-sigma, SPC, DOE, FMEA. Able to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor industry and GLOBALFOUNDRIES protocol/requirements, wearing all required cleanroom protective clothing and equipment up to a 12-hour day and lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift (preventive maintenance) and/or process issues. Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $85,700-$132,700 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
