Process and Manufacturing Systems Engineer role at onsemi. onsemi is currently seeking an experienced Process and Manufacturing Systems Engineer to support 24x7 semiconductor manufacturing of wafers used for Automotive and Consumer applications throughout the world. Responsibilities
Work with engineers to identify, develop, implement, and maintain automated solutions to improve productivity and process control to achieve higher yields, lower costs, higher flexibility, and lower variation in support of semiconductor manufacturing. Identify out-of-the-box solutions which improve quality and productivity in a lean manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of collaborating with teams to develop solutions with high team engagement. Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented manufacturing environment and work constructively with a cross-functional team of manufacturing personnel, process engineers and technicians. Understand and optimize processes and procedures. Drive activities such as yield and reliability improvements, throughput optimization, cost reduction, and safety improvements. Generate written process instructions and communicate procedures with fabrication specialists and technicians. Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, or other applicable BS degree. 3+ years manufacturing experience. Strong background in custom programming solutions to improve manufacturing productivity and systems. Strong background in advanced data analysis, statistics, and programming with the ability to quickly learn and apply various software applications. Experience with building and maintaining custom interfaces utilizing external databases and manufacturing execution systems (MES). Experience with various programming languages (VB, C#, C++). Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and provide hands-on support for the site’s operators, technicians, and engineers when needed. Demonstrated experience with continuous fab improvement in yield, throughput, and cost reduction, preferably in a lean manufacturing environment. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment. Preferred or Additional
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (database design, stored procedure development is a plus). Background in semiconductor manufacturing. Experience with Camline SPACE SPC system. About Us
