Case Manager/Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)
for several of our growing residential areas. Job Responsibilities
As a
Case Manager/QIDP , you will oversee residents' programs, goals and community outings among many facets of daily life. QIDPs work closely with a team of professionals to ensure quality care and programming. You will have the opportunity to create programs to nurture growth physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The QIDP creates programs where residents\' individual goals and desires are worked on in combination with skills needed to achieve greater independence as identified by the interdisciplinary team. QIDP Education And Experience Requirements
QIDP must have a minimum of 1-year experience working with persons with developmental disabilities Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in human services or related field (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation) Ability to provide physical care to residents Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing Demonstrated leadership ability Demonstrated ability to work well with a team Committed to ensuring the rights of residents Ability to manage time and resources while meeting deadlines Ability to demonstrate reliability, flexibility and adaptability Ability to work a variety of shifts/hours and supervise as required Compensation & Benefits
Pay:
$25.50 an hour
(PM shift differential -
$1.50 an hour
Monday-Friday; Weekend differential -
$6 an hour ). Pay range:
