As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at CHI St. Vincent, you will provide specialized care to patients at the Arkansas Neurosciences Institute, focusing on neurosurgery and neurological disorders. Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, diagnosing, prescribing treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities
Assess the health status of individuals and families through history and physical examinations. Diagnose health/developmental problems accurately. Develop and initiate appropriate therapeutic interventions independently. Evaluate patient outcomes and modify treatment plans accordingly. Provide health education and counseling to patients, families, and groups. Perform delegated medical functions under physician supervision as outlined in the collaborative practice agreement. Participate in program development, leadership, and hospital/clinic projects and committees. Qualifications
Current RNP and/or APN licensure in Arkansas. Graduation from an accredited nursing graduate program with supporting documentation. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Eligibility for Medicare provider number and DEA registration. About CHI St. Vincent
