Overview
As a CT Technologist, you'll perform all Computed Tomography (CT) exams. You should be knowledgeable in the operation of equipment and the procedures/protocols for producing high-quality images to furnish diagnostic information to radiologists. Provide quality care for all patients and adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Compensation : USD $29.44/Hr. to USD $45.64/Hr.
Schedule : Full Time, Night Shift (7:00PM-7:00AM), rotating weekends
Sign-on Bonus : $20,000
Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited School for Radiologic Technologist
ARRT, required
IEMA, required
CT Certification, preferred
BLS CPR certification, required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Team-oriented, positive attitude, strong customer service skills
Potential exposure to infectious diseases
Ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally
Repetitive motions, walking, standing, reaching above the head
Physically capable of performing duties
Responsibilities
Follow safety, courtesy, quality, and efficiency standards
Coordinate patient flow and schedule for CT procedures
Verify exam orders and medical history, and ensure proper preparation
Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
Perform CT exams according to standards and protocols
Maintain safety standards and proper use of contrast media
Quality assurance, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance
Participate in QA/QC and process improvements
Maintain continuing education and clinical competency
Adhere to infection control and departmental policies
