Job Title: PCU Registered Nurse (Travel Nursing) Location: Elizabeth City, North Carolina 27909 Unit: Medicine Unit 3 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026) Shift: 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,090 - $2,140
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), step-down, or acute care nursing BLS certification from the American Heart Association Ability to work 12-hour night shifts Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient status Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and patient families to ensure optimal outcomes Accurately document patient care and progress in the electronic health record (EHR) Participate in unit-based quality improvement and clinical support initiatives
