About the Opportunity As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a key role in driving small capital projects, supporting maintenance and operations, and implementing process improvements. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to enhance safety, quality, and production efficiency, while supporting environmental compliance and plant expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute small capital projects and process improvements.
Support safety and environmental initiatives to protect employees and the environment.
Perform technical evaluations, calculations, and equipment sizing.
Analyze plant operations, run trials, and interpret results to drive improvements.
Develop equipment specifications and oversee safe, effective installations.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to solve recurring issues.
Act as a liaison between production and maintenance functions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
3+ years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical, communication, and project management skills.
Experience leading group meetings and using problem-solving tools.
