IT Field Service Tech / Supporting Clients Site / 62-70k
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Field Service Technician to provide onsite and remote technical support for end users, hardware, and networking systems. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting abilities across Windows environments, networking, and desktop hardware, with a professional demeanor when working directly with clients.
Responsibilities
Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Office 365, and common business applications.
Set up and maintain LAN/WAN connections, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Perform basic network troubleshooting including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP connectivity issues.
Diagnose and repair hardware failures and perform component replacements as needed.
Ensure all service tickets and work orders are updated accurately in the ticketing system.
Assist in deploying new systems, imaging PCs, and managing user accounts in Active Directory.
Work closely with internal IT teams to elevate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain high customer satisfaction through clear communication and professional onsite presence.
Document procedures, configurations, and client environment details for ongoing support.
Requirements
2 4 years of experience in field service or technical support.
Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, Office 365, and network fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VPNs).
Experience with hardware setup, imaging, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls and wireless configuration.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver s license and reliable transportation (travel to client sites required).
CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications preferred.
