The
Quality Control Inspector
plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with company processes at our Composite facility in
Fort Lauderdale . This position is responsible for performing incoming and outgoing inspections of aircraft parts and materials, along with required production procedures. Reporting to the Director of Quality and Engineering, the ideal individual will be quality-oriented, attentive to detail, self-motivated, reliable, able to multi-task and to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to meet quality product expectations. This role is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Important Notice: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
Conduct a complete vision inspection of all incoming parts and materials, including inspecting items being shipped
Ensure products meet company standards before they are sent out or placed on the inventory shelves
Handling material with necessary precaution and in accordance with requirements for safe handling
Review material specifications to compare to inventory parts
Ensures production and processes adhere to standards with legal requirements
Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual inspection, and communicating required adjustments to the production department
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs for quality assurance
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Airframe and Powerplant License required
1-2 yrs. Quality Control Inspector experience
Familiar with ATA106 and ATA300 Specifications
Familiar with ISO9001, AS9120 and ASA-100 standards
Familiar with procedures for completion of ATA106 certificate
Familiar with procedures for Maintenance Release certificates such as 8130’s, EASA Form One, Canadian Form one, etc.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills
Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written)
Possess strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills
Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with Quantum Software
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
