Job Purpose This role is responsible for supervising and maintaining the plant’s Quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory, federal, and local laws. Areas of focus include identifying and achieving facility Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) KPI’s through corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Engage in planning, defining, and directing the site auditing control program to ensure compliance with GMP standards, Kraft Heinz requirements, and regulatory laws.

Ensure compliance with FSQ principles through routine auditing, reporting, and trending, or process and regulatory controls.

Support the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) and operational standards as outlined in the plant accountability list.

Train, mentor, and lead site QA and Production team to meet program goals.

Adhere to approved change control procedures, reviewing partial HACCP plans and issuing Agile change requests.

Monitor and maintain plant KHMS program by complying with current Kraft Heinz and International Audit (FSSC/ISO) standards.

Co‑lead site cross‑functional KHMS Team and partner with stakeholders to achieve successful site certification.

Ensure FSQ/KPI/MBO action plans are maintained and progress targets are met.

Support all internal and external inspections/regulatory visits and audit preparation activities.

Follow up on non‑conformances and provide appropriate responses.

Review and approve minor process change requests.

Create and track hold/release documentation and dispositioning of products.

Assist with validation studies for all CCPs, OPRPs, and other significant controls.

Participate in equipment commissioning and startup, ensuring standardization of quality and food safety procedures.

Expected Experience & Required Skills

Proven history of technical quality or production knowledge of policies & programs in food or relevant manufacturing settings.

Education or operational/on-the-job knowledge of Food Science, Food Production, Manufacturing Quality/Operations, or other relevant environments.

Strong leadership, technical, communication, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

Knowledge of quality or production systems, procedures, & policies. Handle multiple assignments, develop work plans, and prioritize.

Knowledge of statistical processes.

Planning and organizing skills.

Demonstrated problem‑solving with emphasis on long‑term preventative and proactive measures through individual or team actions.

Must be able to work shifts, weekends, and all required overtime. Prompt and regular attendance.

Work Environment & Schedule This position is considered a manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipment. The role is a 3rd Shift; applicants must work shifts, weekends, and all required overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements

Occasional activity sustained for 1/3 of working hours; keyboard or text input, upright stance.

Sedentary – occasionally exerting 0-10 bs of force, limited movement from workstation for brief periods.

Compensation Base Salary Range: $77,800 - $97,300

Bonus: Eligible for a performance‑based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
