Our Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a procurement professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will be a part of high-level activity and collaborative environment as part of our procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall procurement activities for material supporting the Raytheon business unit.
You will work very closely with external suppliers as well with internal customers and functional areas to support a broad portfolio of programs across Raytheon.
Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of acquisition professionals as their lead responsible for managing their workloads, goals, career & performance development, compliance of PO packages and supplier/internal customer issues Manage escalations and resolution of internal customer and/or supplier issues Manage financial goals in relation to our subcontract deliveries Drive the success for metrics, PR to PO Cycle time, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc. Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (technical as well as quality) Perform subcontract management of purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models. Prepare all manner of solicitations including RFQ, RFP, and RFI Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms) Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity Perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems Travel to RTX and supplier facilities as deemed necessary. Qualifications:
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience Minimum 5 years experience in procurement / purchasing. Supervisory/leadership experience leading a team Experience in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or within other heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, space, aviation, power generation or automotive Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc.). Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using standard computer systems focused on supplier management process (SAP / Maximo) Experience filtering information from multiple sources to drive innovative solutions Experience working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools as well as knowledge of supply chain processes.
