Full Time, Non-Exempt Benefits : Full Museum Benefits Schedule : M-F, 9-5 Salary : Commensurate with Experience Scope of Position: The Senior Manager of Development Operations at the Dallas Museum of Art ensures the integrity and efficiency of the Museum’s fundraising operations by overseeing all aspects of gift processing and maintaining the accuracy, security, and strategic use of the donor database (Raiser’s Edge NXT), related platforms and applications, and their integration with other Museum systems. The Senior Manager plays a key role in supporting Museum fundraising efforts through accurate gift and donor record management, streamlined workflows, department reporting, and a strong infrastructure for donor stewardship. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of three responsible for gift processing, donor record database management, department reporting, and donor services. Manage the timely and accurate processing and recording of all gifts, pledges, and payments to the Museum. Coordinate with the Finance Department to support monthly reconciliations, audits, and financial reporting related to donor, endowment, and special purpose revenues. Oversee the daily operation and strategic use of Raiser’s Edge NXT, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and security. Manage development operations vendors such as, wealth screening, and oversee the implementation of new technologies, applications, and software to enhance fundraising effectiveness and streamline processes. Collaborate with the Development team to improve database processes for donor acknowledgment, recognition, and stewardship. Provide database training and support to staff across the Museum. Implement and maintain systems, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance across all development operations. Design and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and queries to support data-informed fundraising strategies and effective financial oversight. Lead departmental queries and processes to support the Annual Report and donor recognition efforts for the Museum. Stay current with fundraising best practices and emerging tools, applications, and technologies in nonprofit operations and CRM systems. Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge NXT (RE NXT) required; experience with database integrations and digital fundraising platforms strongly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in development operations, fundraising services, or nonprofit data management. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, with proven ability to lead and develop staff. Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
