Reporting to the Vice President for Strategy and Impact, the Assistant Director for Events and Operations plays a pivotal role in advancing Thomas More’s visibility and fostering community engagement through impactful events. This individual will facilitate high-quality internal and external events, oversee key operational functions, and support human resources and office services initiatives. Core Responsibilities

Event Management : Plan, execute, and evaluate internal and external events, including conferences, retreats, weddings, and community gatherings, ensuring alignment with University goals and standards. Revenue Generation : Develop strategies to attract external clients and manage event-related policies, contracts, and sponsorships to meet financial objectives. Operational Support : Lead office services, assist with HR initiatives, and manage departmental budgets and processes. Stakeholder Engagement : Serve as a liaison between the University, community organizations, and external vendors, fostering partnerships and enhancing client satisfaction. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. Demonstrated expertise in event planning, venue management, or related fields. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends. Join Us
