Senior Material Program Manager, Supplier Capacity – Onsite in Tucson, Arizona. This role focuses on managing Supplier Capacity projects to ensure the supply base can meet future demand, interfacing with the Program Team and Supply Chain leadership in a matrixed environment. Position Role Type: Onsite. U.S. citizenship/security clearance requirements apply. The role is contingent upon contract award and will be extended only if the program is awarded to the Standard Missile 3 portfolio. Work closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to develop and execute Material Strategies which support customer requirements and meet program objectives Lead by influence in a matrixed organization Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans Support supplier negotiations and PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives Financial management (EV, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts, etc.) Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers Management of timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) to include Risk & Opportunity management Willingness to travel domestically/internationally, as required Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 10 years prior relevant Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and/or Strategic Sourcing experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum 7 years experience in Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and/or Strategic Sourcing Experienced professional who has worked in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment Experience with Supply Chain and/or Procurement processes and requirements Experience in Project Management Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Supplier management experience CORE or similar Six Sigma Specialist Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related Proposals/Estimating and/or Basis of Estimates (BOEs) experience Experience managing program cost and schedule Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs) Experience with Earned Value Management and/or Financial forecasting Execution experience of multiple program and contract types (EMD, LRIP, FRP, Cost and Fixed Price) What We Offer
