Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological science is required.
5 Years under the direction of an MT or Pathologist Required
2 Years leadership experience Preferred
MT(ASCP) - Medical Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
CT(ASCP) - Cytotechnologist Upon Hire Required Or
HTL(ASCP) - Histotechnologist Upon Hire Required Or
MLS(ASCP) - Medical Lab Scientist Upon Hire Required Or
SCT(ASCP) - Specialist in Cytotechnology Upon Hire Required Or
Other equivalent of one of the above including AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS-CA, FL, NY state license, Phillipine Board Upon Hire Required Or
HT(ASCP) - Histotechnician if supervising Histology within Anatomical Pathology Upon Hire Required
What You’ll Do
Leadership/Staff Supervision
Oversees work schedules and personnel assignments for the department
Delegates employee responsibilities as needed
Assumes and performs complex laboratory procedures when needed
