Kelly Science has an immediate opening for aLaboratory Technician for our growing client near Beachwood, OH
Full-time
Hours; Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Pay: $26-$28/hr
As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development and testing of cutting-edge corrosion protection technologies. Working closely with our Laboratory Manager and a team of scientists and engineers, you’ll contribute to both laboratory and field-based research initiatives.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Preparing samples and conducting standardized corrosion and materials tests
Maintaining laboratory equipment, chemicals, and safety protocols
Recording accurate and detailed experimental data
Assisting with field testing and analysis as needed
Performing internet and library research for technical documentation
Supporting report generation and documentation of test findings
Upholding lab cleanliness, equipment calibration, and inventory
We’re looking for someone with a strong scientific foundation and a desire to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring: A
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
(Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, etc.), or equivalent practical experience
0–5 years of professional lab experience (entry-level friendly!)
Familiarity with laboratory chemicals, solvents, acids, bases, and proper handling procedures
Comfort operating common lab instruments and performing routine procedures
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and quality standards
Basic proficiency with
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent organization and communication skills (written and verbal)
A problem-solving mindset with critical thinking and analytical abilities
