About This Unit
12 beds
15‑24 patients per day (24 hrs)
GE Maxima CT/ GE Tempo Rad Machine
CT Tech training provided for full‑time CT
What You Will Do
For full time, the schedule is Thursday through Saturday. Days are 7am‑7:30pm. Nights are 7pm‑7:30am.
For PRN, schedule is Wednesdays, days and nights at the same times.
You will compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
You will release customers with proper post‑procedure instructions.
You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications
Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology.
Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
On‑call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call‑back.
Job Summary and Qualifications The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high‑quality computerized tomography images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.
