Sr Mechanical Engineer – Hydraulics
Location: Houston, TX | HYBRID
We are seeking a
Sr Mechanical Engineer
to join a growing team focused on
hydraulic systems and heavy equipment solutions . This is a
hands-on role
ideal for an
mid-sr level engineer
with a passion for design, field service, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop
hydraulic power units, pumps, and motors
for marine and/or offshore applications.
Create
technical models, layouts, and detailed drawings
using CAD software.
Apply engineering principles to
stress analysis, material selection, and system performance .
Work closely with
project teams and leadership
to execute designs and troubleshoot challenges.
Travel up to
25%
based on project needs.
Qualifications
Mechanical Engineering degree
from an accredited program.
5+ years
of experience in
design engineering or field service
(hydraulics required).
Familiarity with
pressure-compensated hydraulic systems
for lifting and heavy equipment.
IFPS or EIT certification
(preferred).
Strong understanding of
GD&T, ANSI, ASME, ASTM standards .
