We are seeking an
Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
to join our dynamic team supporting full EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects in the power sector. This includes work on gas turbines, renewables, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, and transmission systems, delivering complete construction packages or power generation islands up to 100 MW, and supporting data center operations.
What You\'ll Do
Develop detailed design deliverables including:
Single-line diagrams
Motor elementary diagrams
Cable schedules (electrical & instrumentation)
Material take-offs (MTOs)
Grounding, lighting, lightning protection, and heat tracing systems
Perform engineering calculations to validate design integrity
Design and implement infrastructure systems for process control and monitoring
Conduct arc flash studies, grounding grid analysis, and relay coordination
Prepare construction packages and support field implementation
Ensure designs meet client expectations, industry standards, and project specifications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project alignment
Provide on-site startup and commissioning support as needed
Recognize and communicate scope changes and design updates promptly
What You Bring
Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
PE license preferred or actively working toward licensure
Minimum of 7 years of relevant industrial experience, preferably in EPC environments
Proficiency with PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and field instrumentation
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., HART, Modbus, Profibus)
Proficiency in electrical design software (ETAP, SKM Power Tools, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks)
Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE, and other relevant codes and standards
Ability to produce efficient, constructible designs with attention to cost and schedule
Experience with EPC project workflows and documentation standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
Willingness to travel occasionally for field verification and support
