Environmental Field Geologist
to join our
Tampa, Florida
office. The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental engineering, specifically experience with the state of Florida’s Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP).
Key Responsibilities:
Remedial Action Plans: Prepare and develop comprehensive Remedial Action Plans (RAPs) in accordance with state and federal regulations. Pilot Testing: Conduct pilot testing to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of remediation technologies. Field Data Collection: Perform field data collection, including soil and groundwater sampling, site assessments, and monitoring. Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies. CADD (Preferred): Utilize Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software to assist in the design and implementation of engineering projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field. 1+ years of environmental experience relating to the state of Florida’s Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP). Geologist-In-Training (GIT) license is preferred. Experience in preparing Remedial Action Plans. Ability to conduct pilot testing and field data collection. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in CADD software is a plus.
