Overview
Clinical Skills Data Coordinator - School of Medicine (SOM) at Hackensack Meridian Health. The role involves creating, maintaining and coordinating data and systems (including databases) used for student assessment for the Clinical Skills team. The position designs, develops, and optimizes data systems to provide analytics across cohorts. Responsibilities Develops, implements and maintains data systems which integrate with input from multiple sources.
Applies best practices to collect, process and analyze student assessment data.
Creates and maintains reports with rich interactive visualizations featuring clinical skills student performance data.
Implements continuous improvement of clinical skills data systems, including evaluating efficiency, problems and inaccuracies; develops and maintains data processing and cleaning protocols.
Tracks and monitors student performance data and regularly updates leadership as necessary.
Collaborates to ensure timely and accurate grade reporting and identification of student remediation.
Coordinates, manages, and monitors the tracking of student final grades; notifies faculty and committees of final grades and changes when needed.
Supports generation of data reports of educational outcomes and evaluations to inform data-driven decisions for curriculum oversight committees and stakeholders.
Supports research and quality improvement initiatives related to clinical skills curricula and assessment data.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and support data-driven decision-making.
Upholds confidentiality requirements.
Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Adheres to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Master's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience with databases and data management, including analytics such as evaluation and visualization.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of constituencies.
Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to respond to high-pressure situations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; aptitude for learning analytics tools and technologies.
Education, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Preferred Experience with assessment software or other complex systems.
Experience in an academic setting.
Compensation and Benefits
The posted rate of pay is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting and does not reflect the full value of the compensation package. Starting pay is informational and may be adjusted based on factors such as market data, experience, education, and internal equity. Starting at $70,668.00 annually. Health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, retirement benefits, and other benefits are included in the package.
