Weekly outpatient therapy isn’t always enough, and a trip to the ER isn’t the only answer. CompassHealth Center supports patients and families in crisis, helping people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles so they can live freely. About This Role We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to provide clerical support for our patients. If you are passionate about providing exemplary care while being sensitive to individual psychiatric conditions, you would be a great addition to our team. Our centrally located Chicago office is in North Center, with social events hosted on our fully furnished rooftop. *Schedule:
This is a 100% onsite position at our Chicago, IL location. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:15pm. What You\’ll Do
Greets and/or orients all patients, visitors, and staff who enter the building. Answers incoming calls in a warm and welcoming manner. Maintains neat and orderly reception area and awareness of people in the building. Completes intake calls and schedules intake appointments. Reaches out to families to schedule family therapy and outpatient psychiatry appointments. Provides intake to new clients, verifying demographics, insurance, forms, and data for chart entry. Maintains patient charts confidentially per HIPAA and Compass policy. Uses Electronic Medical Record system to verify and schedule appointments with clinicians and/or outpatient psychiatrists. Obtains payment methods for appointments; collects payments and issues receipts for outpatient psychiatry/therapy appointments. Opens and closes the facility in a timely manner per procedure. Performs related clerical duties (computers, office equipment, copiers, fax, scanner, postage). Performs other related duties as assigned. Who You Are
1-2 years of customer service experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organization and planning skills; detail oriented Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Flexible schedule - able to work assigned hours We are committed to a fair and equitable work environment.
