Associate - Payments Product Manager at RBC. The Payment Product Manager within RBC Clear will support the end-to-end Fedwire payment product development lifecycle, working with Sr. Product Managers to establish product vision, strategy and roadmap. The Product Manager will support the Domestic High Value Payments team by defining, prioritizing and implementing Fedwire functionalities across all end-to-end product disciplines within RBC Clear to deliver client-backed digital-first solutions. The Product Manager will operate with an agile delivery approach and collaborate with teams across engineering, operations, sales, legal, compliance, risk and strategic vendors to deliver innovative and best-in-class outcomes. Contribute to establishing the vision and road map for Cash Management payment products including Fedwire and other High Value Payment Rails Participate in client discussions and advise on client solutions related to payment products with a focus on Fedwire Actively participate in Fedwire payment product development following the strategy and roadmap in an agile delivery environment, including story grooming and backlog prioritization, and business process mapping Collaborate with Design team to create product service design blueprints guided by the north star approach Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, legal, compliance and risk to progress product development and product launches Contribute to Go-to-Market readiness for product roll-outs, providing training and support to teams in Operations, Client Services, Sales and other areas Support Risk teams in establishing controls to ensure compliance with RBC Clear guidelines and Fed regulations What you will need to succeed
7+ years of working experience in financial industry, preferably Cash Management or Transaction Banking 5+ years of in-depth knowledge in Fedwire Payment product, wire processing operations and other payment rails 3+ years of hands-on experience in agile development in a product owner role, including creating user stories and backlog refinement Knowledge of ISO and MT/MX payment formats Experience in building web-based payment products Understanding of innovative technologies and current technology trends Working knowledge of digital channel products such as host-to-host, API, SWIFT and TMS/ERP integration Working knowledge of pricing strategy for payment products CTP certification preferred but not required Client-centric mindset in product design Strong teamwork skills across technical and non-technical resources Startup mindset with comfort in a fast-paced, changing environment Interest in keeping up with industry trends in payments Strong organizational skills and a proactive, can-do attitude Excellent oral and written communication skills to articulate to all project members and stakeholders Ability to see tasks through to completion with limited supervision Innovative mindset with ability to identify client pain points and differentiate experience via product design Familiar with legal and compliance obligations related to NACHA guidelines and Fedwire regulations Ability to work with JIRA in an agile squad structure Ability to map business processes What’s in it for you?
