UCHealth Parkview Medical Group and the Gastroenterology team in Pueblo, CO are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, interested in full-time work, and committed to excellent patient care. UCHealth values each individual as extraordinary and fosters a collaborative environment. Responsibilities
Work directly with a GI physician as a dedicated APP provider No call, nights, or weekends Clinic schedule Monday-Friday, generally from 8 am to 5 pm Perform outpatient consultations in a busy clinic, seeing approximately 20 patients per day Support staff includes a dedicated Medical Assistant Qualifications
For Physician Assistants
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies Unrestricted PA license in Colorado PA-C certification from NCCPA Unrestricted DEA permit Eligible for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification For Nurse Practitioners
Master's in Nursing and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certification from ANCC or AANPCB Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado or multi-state compact Full prescriptive authority and DEA permit Eligible for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA BLS certification Benefits
