Support the Director of Patient Care Services in developing, implementing, and monitoring the patient care delivery system and nursing practice standards with the nursing leadership team. Lead, plan, coordinate, manage, and evaluate unit operations to ensure high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience. Ensure alignment with organizational strategy, quality metrics, and financial targets. Qualifications
Education : BSN or Advanced degree in nursing required (or completion of either within 1 year). Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Experience : 3 years of relevant clinical experience with 2 years of leadership experience. Nursing Certification in leadership or related specialty preferred. Membership in Healthcare/Nursing professional organizations preferred. Licenses/Certifications : New York State RN License (Vassar Brothers Hospital, Putnam Hospital, Northern Dutchess Hospital) CT State RN License (Danbury Hospital, Norwalk Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Sharon Hospital) Certifications required based on unit specialties Working Conditions
Manual: Significant manual skills/motor coordination & finger dexterity. Occupational: Some occupational risk. Physical effort: Sedentary/light effort. May exert up to 10 lbs. force. Physical environment: Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc. Company/Org Details
