Shift: 14:00-22:30 (5*8) 22:30-7:00 (5*8) Location:
Upland, CA Start date:
10/20/2025 - 01/17/2026 (12 weeks) Pay:
50$ to 55$ depending on experience. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our team at our Upland facility. The CLS will perform a variety of complex laboratory tests to assist physicians in diagnosing, treating, and preventing disease. This role requires accuracy, strong technical skills, and adherence to established laboratory policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform and interpret laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and other areas as assigned.
Ensure accuracy and validity of test results by following quality control procedures.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Prepare specimens, reagents, and solutions for analysis.
Document and report test results promptly and accurately in the LIS (Laboratory Information System).
Adhere to CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and state regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers regarding test results.
Maintain laboratory safety and infection control standards.
Train and guide laboratory assistants, technicians, or students when necessary.
Qualifications
HOSPITAL GENERALIST. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND At least 5 years' experience.
Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required.
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
Previous clinical laboratory experience.
Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, testing procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
