What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead group efforts to ensure successful completion of electrical engineering project deliverables
Initiate and convey project scope to team members, defining deliverables such as calculations and specifications
Review status and track progress of group members to maintain project scope and budget
Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex electrical modifications at nuclear power plants
Provide technical oversight for engineering design change packages and related activities
What is Required (Qualifications)
A BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
Ten or more years’ experience in the design of electrical engineering systems for nuclear power plants
Three or more years of experience in leading an engineering design group through all phases of a project design
Experience with electrical system design, including low and medium voltage distribution systems
Proficiency with MS Office applications and effective written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
PE Licensure is preferred
Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead engineering role
Detail-oriented approach to work
Capability of being badged for unescorted access to a nuclear station
Experience in the selection of equipment and preparation of engineering design change packages
