Manufacturing Engineer , where you’ll collaborate across teams to launch new product implementations, refine existing processes, and drive innovation through automation and robotics integration.
Position Overview
In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with manufacturing and project teams to maximize efficiency, quality, and safety across operations. You’ll be instrumental in standardizing work procedures, developing operational controls, and deploying advanced manufacturing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a core member of cross-functional launch teams to optimize manufacturing processes
Develop and implement new production methods, including automation, tooling, fixtures, and packaging
Conduct trials and “prove out” processes to ensure operational control and quality standards
Support smooth transfers of new programs between production facilities
Sustaining Manufacturing (SQDC)
Troubleshoot and resolve technical production issues using root cause analysis
Design and enhance manufacturing processes to support product changes and improvements
Coordinate training on unique equipment, robotics, and automation systems
Maintain CAD-based layouts for workflow, equipment, and workspace optimization
Lead initiatives to eliminate waste using Lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and Quick Changeover
Evaluate and document process controls and standard work for efficiency gains
Support quality initiatives and automation projects across manufacturing locations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related)
Experience in molding and assembly environments preferred
Proficiency with CAD, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems
Strong communication skills for interfacing with leadership, customers, and teams
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
