electrification efforts , including electric drives, batteries, and associated hardware. Key Responsibilities
Material Testing : Mechanical, thermal, and aging tests on non-metallics, copper, aluminum, printed circuit board materials. Failure Analysis : Evaluate new materials, compare alternatives, and report findings. Client Collaboration : Define testing needs, timelines, and deliverables with internal clients. Reporting : Provide status updates via PowerPoint, meetings, and final reports. Lab Work : Hands-on testing in materials and chemical labs, requiring full-time onsite presence. Ideal Candidate Profile
Education & Experience Bachelor’s in Materials Science or Engineering
is required. Master’s preferred , especially with relevant lab experience. PhDs are generally not preferred
due to the applied nature of the work. 5+ years of industry experience
is ideal; 2–3 years may be acceptable for candidates with a master’s degree. Technical Skills
Familiarity with
microscopes ,
hardness testing ,
mechanical testing , and
metallurgical lab equipment . Experience with
non-ferrous materials
like copper, aluminum, polymers, and lithium-ion battery components. No specific software tools required beyond
Microsoft Office ; lab tools and protocols are taught on the job. Seniority level
