Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Welding
Lay out materials and fabricate according to blueprints and sketches. Use all types of welding rods for bonding, penetration, and flow. Proper use of cutting torch and acetylene welder. Electrical
Proper use and application of electrical test OVM meter. Install electrical motors correctly. Install conduit and pull wires according to code. Boilers
Perform feed water tests and add chemicals as needed. Maintain proper TDS levels. Operate boilers using natural gas or fuel. Refrigeration
Maintain head pressures for proper temperatures. Switch compressors as needed. Manage oil drainage from ammonia systems. Machinery Repair
Use factory blueprints correctly. Properly use hand tools and shop equipment. General
Perform functions in designated areas. Work with minimal supervision. Respond promptly to work orders. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. Attend daily meetings if required. Maintain records and logs. Support changeovers and start-ups. Uphold safety, quality, and cleanliness standards. SQF Requirements
Ensure food safety and quality. Report safety issues. Monitor contracted services. Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance programs. Coverage
Trained in all aspects of Maintenance Engineer duties and able to perform coverage as needed. Education and Experience:
GED or High School Diploma. Minimum 3+ years in manufacturing. Experience in industrial maintenance. Intermediate computer skills. Strong troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and multitask. Skills and Competencies:
Standing: 6+ hours. Sitting: Occasionally. Walking: Frequently. Bending: Occasionally. Lifting: Light (under 30 lbs) frequently. Carrying: Light (30-50 lbs) over 100 ft. Pushing/Pulling: Under 75 lbs occasionally. Work at heights up to 85 feet. Tolerate cold environments. Special Requirements:
Follow assigned area roles and responsibilities. Post-training, this position is a graveyard shift, 10-hour shifts. For California candidates, starting pay is $52.27/hr per CBA. California residents' data is subject to privacy notices.
