Responsibilities

Transform customer technical requirements into robust, efficient solutions.

Develop advanced PCBs for Power Supplies, Battery Chargers, and Battery Management Systems.

Create, simulate, and test complex mixed-signal circuits using SPICE and MATLAB.

Drive designs through rigorous qualification testing to meet industry standards.

Lead Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR).

Resolve challenges in existing products and deliver next-generation solutions.

Use lab tools like oscilloscopes and DMMs to troubleshoot, validate, and perfect designs.

Develop detailed test plans, reports, and acceptance procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to production.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience in circuit design focusing on power electronics.

Expertise in analog and digital design, with skills in PWM control, Power MOSFETs, and IGBT technologies.

Experience owning designs from initial schematics to final product testing.

Familiarity with EMI/EMC principles and mitigation strategies.

Proficiency in lab equipment for troubleshooting and validating designs.

Strong understanding of simulation tools like MATLAB and SPICE.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

Ability to follow ITAR regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

C/C++ programming experience is advantageous.

Experience managing different priorities within the role.

Cross‑functional background is preferred.

Open to working in a smaller aerospace company.

Master's Degree is preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience designing to meet industry standards like DO‑160.

Work Environment Work is performed in both office and manufacturing environments with exposure to standard temperature‑controlled conditions and variable shop floor conditions. Noise levels may range from moderate to high at times. This is a full‑time onsite position with flexible hours, typically operating from 8‑5. Physical demands include the ability to lift documents and work materials up to 40 pounds and the ability to communicate clearly with personnel at all organizational levels.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year. The company offers 9 company holidays and up to 2 weeks of PTO after the first year.

Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Phoenix, AZ.
