Electrical Engineer position focused on transforming customer technical requirements into robust, efficient electrical solutions. Develop advanced PCBs for power supplies, battery chargers, and battery management systems; create, simulate, and test mixed-signal circuits; and lead design reviews to ensure technical, cost, and schedule objectives while aligning with stakeholder expectations. Responsibilities
Transform customer technical requirements into robust, efficient solutions.
Develop advanced PCBs for power supplies, battery chargers, and battery management systems.
Create, simulate, and test mixed-signal circuits using SPICE and MATLAB.
Drive designs through rigorous qualification testing to meet industry standards.
Lead Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR) to meet technical objectives.
Resolve challenges in existing products while delivering next-generation solutions.
Use lab tools to troubleshoot, validate, and perfect designs.
Develop detailed test plans, reports, and acceptance procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to production.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience in circuit design with a focus on power electronics.
Expertise in analog and digital design, preferred skills in PWM control, Power MOSFETs, and IGBT technologies.
Ability to own designs from initial schematics to final product testing.
Familiarity with EMI/EMC principles and mitigation strategies.
Proficiency in lab equipment to troubleshoot and validate designs.
Experience designing to meet industry standards like DO-160 and MIL-STD-704.
Strong understanding of simulation tools (MATLAB, SPICE).
Minimum of 6 years experience in circuit design with a focus on power electronics.
Minimum of 3-4 years experience in analog and digital design.
Full product lifecycle experience.
Minimum of 3-4 years experience with EMI/EMC principles.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
C/C++ programming experience.
Experience managing different priorities within the role.
Cross-functional experience.
Interest in joining a smaller aerospace company.
Master's Degree.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr. Workplace
This is a fully onsite position in Phoenix, AZ. Application Deadline
