We are seeking a

Project Engineer – I&C

to design, implement, and manage instrumentation and control systems for mission-critical data center infrastructure projects. This role blends technical expertise in automation systems with project management skills to deliver reliable, efficient, and scalable control solutions that ensure uptime and operational excellence. Position Overview

This role is essential to ensuring that our data center facilities operate with maximum efficiency, reliability, and automation to support the world’s critical digital infrastructure. You’ll work with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team on some of the most advanced infrastructure projects in the industry. What You’ll Do

Lead projects focused on system IED data collection, logic controls, and data presentation for customer monitoring and control Design and implement system integration using HMI and SCADA software platforms Develop control logic for Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) Create instrumentation specifications, control narratives, and system architecture drawings Coordinate I&C activities with mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering teams Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables for I&C scope Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of control systems Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and optimization of control systems Support commissioning and startup activities, providing documentation and training Key Technical Areas

Control Systems: BMS, EPMS, HVAC control, fire safety systems, security/access control, environmental monitoring Technologies: SCADA platforms, HMI systems, PLC programming, industrial networking protocols (Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet/IP) Documentation: P&IDs, control system architecture drawings, cabling diagrams, instrument datasheets, commissioning procedures What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls engineering (critical facilities experience preferred) Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems Knowledge of electrical distribution and power systems in data centers Strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, or Instrumentation Engineering Experience with hyperscale or mission-critical data center projects Familiarity with data center standards (TIA-942, Uptime Institute Tier) Knowledge of cloud infrastructure requirements PMP or equivalent project management certification What We Offer
