Job Description:
Senior Electrical Engineer, PE
Who You'll Work With:
You will join one of our 45 US offices, be part of a dedicated team of over 1500 professionals, and work directly with clients on impactful projects. You will be part of our Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) team, collaborating with industry experts to deliver high-quality solutions to leading companies.
What You'll Do:
Support complex industrial design and EPC projects for manufacturing clients by:
Designing power distribution, motor control, lighting, and grounding systems
Creating low (120V-480V) and medium (2.4kV-35kV) voltage system designs
Performing power system analysis using SKM or similar software
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors
Creating electrical specifications and drawings
Leading projects through all design phases
Presenting to clients both in-person and virtually
Reviewing contractor submittals and responding to RFIs
Conducting site observations during design and construction
What You'll Bring (Qualifications Required):
12+ years of experience as an electrical engineer
Professional Engineering License (PE)
Experience delivering complex power distribution designs for facilities
Experience as Engineer of Record (EOR)
Strong working knowledge of the NEC
Expertise with electrical documentation and drawings
Expertise with detailed 480V single line diagrams and 120V panel schedules
Experience with conductor and conduit schedules, overhead cable tray schemes
Knowledge of lighting design for complex production spaces
Experience with integrated facilities design
Proficiency with REVIT, SKM, Visual, and other engineering software
Willingness to travel for site assessments and meetings
Microsoft Office proficiency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
