Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; equivalent construction-related experience will also be considered.
10+ years of utility-scale electrical construction and estimating experience.
Valid Master Electrician license.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and construction practices.
Experience estimating and developing bids for utility-scale electrical projects.
Comprehensive understanding of all field installation techniques and methods.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Safety-oriented; 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA certificates preferred.
Strong work ethic and willingness to undertake necessary tasks to complete projects.
Ability to function as a team builder and player.
Capability to meet deadlines and collaborate with bid team members.
Willingness to travel to project sites and provide support.
Ability to access all points of a construction site in diverse climates.
Responsibilities
Manage construction safety, environmental compliance, and quality assurance.
Understand and manage project costs and budgets.
Schedule and oversee crew workforce, equipment, and tools for optimal utilization and quality.
Review timecards and invoices for proper cost distribution and accountability.
Ensure all employees are current with safety policies and have received necessary safety training and equipment.
Engage in business development and manage client relationships.
