Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; equivalent construction-related experience considered. 10+ years of utility-scale electrical construction and estimating experience. Valid Master Electrician license or reciprocal in the applicable state. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and construction practices. Experience estimating and developing bids for utility-scale electrical projects. Extensive experience with field installation techniques and methods. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Safety-oriented; OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour certificates preferred. Strong work ethic and willingness to undertake necessary tasks. Ability to work as a team-builder and team player. Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with bid team members. Willingness to travel to project sites and provide support. Ability to access all points of a construction site in various climates. Responsibilities
Manage construction safety protocols. Ensure environmental compliance. Oversee quality control. Understand and manage project costs and budgets. Schedule and oversee crew workforce, equipment, and tools for optimal utilization and quality. Review timecards and invoices for proper cost allocation and accountability. Ensure all employees are compliant with safety policies and trained appropriately. Engage in business development and manage client relationships.
